Bribie Island Family Photographer | The Langham's

If you ask me if you can get some photos in the water during your family session at the beach, (or any session, really!) the answer will always be a huge YES! Bring along some swimmers to change in to, or just jump in, in what you’re already wearing.. i’ll be there waist deep in water, camera in hand, ready to photograph all of the magic!

I don’t know if it’s the Pisces in me but I love water. The way the small waves gently crash along the sand, or how the sun shines on all the teeny tiny water droplets. It’s just so calming and peaceful!

I had the best time photographing Lorina and her beautiful family at Bribie Island, just North of Brisbane. The afternoon was full of snuggles, piggy backs, sand eating (peep photo 11 haha), boogie boarding and a whole lot of fun!

If you’re ready to plan your next family, maternity or couples session at the beach, send me a message!

Bribie Island Engagement Photographer | Jade + Michael

I had the pleasure of capturing such a beautiful engagement session at the beach earlier this year for Jade and Michael.

The sun kissed sky, salty breeze, and the way the water danced around them created the most amazing atmosphere.

As for Jade + Michael, they were simply stunning. Every detail of their styling was perfection. The combination of flowy dresses and earthy tones, mixed with swimmers and linen tees gave me all the summer vibes I could possibly hope for.

If you’d like to have your own engagement or couple photographs taken, please click here to send me a message. I would absolutely love to create some beautiful images for you too!

Congratulations again to Samantha & Adam! We had so much fun capturing your beautiful day at Bribie Island!

“I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms, now and forever. I promise to never forget that this is a once in a lifetime love. And to always know in the deepest part of my soul that no matter what challenges might carry us apart, we will always find a way back to each other.”

Brisbane Wedding Photographer | Allyce & Carl

Last year I had the absolute honour of photographing Allyce & Carl’s beautiful wedding at Ocean View Estates

”If I know what love is, it’s because of you.” - I think this quote is so fitting for these two!

During their bride and groom photos, Allyce and Carl weren't just going through the motions, they were truly connected and entwined with each other. After we were finished, they took some time to just sit and soak in the day together and it was such a beautiful thing to witness.

They literally gave me all the warm and fuzzies and I left with my heart feeling so full. I feel love very deeply, i'm drawn to it, so to watch these two beautiful souls radiating so much love for each other, with every fibre of their being was such a wholesome feeling.

Thank you both so much for allowing me to be a part of your day. Congratulations, not only on your marriage, but on your love and your family that you have created and nurtured together!

I spotted this beautiful mum at the shops one day, she had her sweet little babe in this exact wrap and she was pushing one of her other children in the pram.

She looked absolutely flawless. I passed her a couple of times and each time I kept thinking that I just had to stop her and offer her a family session. I'm a sucker for boho clothing, textures and floaty fabric - this mumma and her babies were wearing it all.

By about the fourth or fifth time i'd seen her, I finally mustered up the courage to stop her. She probably thought I was crazy. I know I would have! But we exchanged details and ended up organising a photo session for her and her family!

Fast forward and my goodness, I may have squealed a little on the inside when they got out of the car and I saw how amazing all of their outfits were! The kids were full of so many giggles and smiles!

Thank you so much Aimee for not running away from me that day and for trusting me to photograph your beautiful family!

Brisbane Family Photographer | The Blackley's

Jenna contacted me last year to organise their first photos together as a family of four, after they had spent the last 12 months separated by sea.

These photos are extra special though as they were some of the first photos of Travis with his sweet daughter, Briar, who met her Daddy when she was 6 months old, While Jenna has been living in California with their children, Travis has been here in Australia playing Baseball for the Brisbane Bandits.

Seeing this family love on each other, especially after being apart for so long was honestly the sweetest thing and I feel so blessed that I was able to create these beautiful images for them.

Gold Coast Engagement Photographer | Katey & Tom

The best thing you can do during an engagement/couples session is to relax and allow yourself to have fun! I will always be there to guide you into a pose, where to look and where to place your hands.. But true emotion comes from you.

Allow yourselves to feel free and truly connect with one another because when you do, that is when the magic happens.

So breathe together, relax your bodies and don’t be afraid to keep your hands moving.

You will never be this young, this in love and this happy than you are at this moment. So embrace where you are in your journey and document your love, because in fifty years time, these are the photos that are going to tell your story.

Brisbane Family Photographer | Micaela & Thomas

This family session gave me all the feels. It wasn’t just about the absolute adoration that this pair had for their little girl, but the love they showed each other spoke to me in a way I can’t even explain.
Keep an eye out for a cute gif of the two of them..

It poured down rain about 2 hours before we started and i'm not even mad about it because we ended up with such a beautiful sunset!

I mention a lot about why I love photographing raw and candid moments, I mean what photographer doesn't, right? But I thought i'd try and tell you why I love them and what it means to me…

I'm an absolute hopeless romantic. Love stories suck me in, hard. When I read a book or watch any kind of movie or tv show with romance in it, I easily become invested. I live and breathe their love. Their chemistry.. I'm talking Aria & Ezra, Jane & Rafael, Anastasia & Christian (you get the idea!)... These moments between these fictional lovers literally ignites something inside of me.. So when I meet a couple and they let their true selves unfold in front of me and they let their love for each other speak without any words being spoken, I get hooked. I'm immediately invested. I become a creeper standing in front of you yelling, "Yasssss, get it girl!" "Kiss her like you mean it!" I am 100 percent roaring for you and your love.. And when the sun sets and i'm driving home, i'll be thinking to myself, "HECK YES! That was mother loving FIRE" and my soul will literally be ignited..

..So how lucky am I, that this connection and this fire that burns within me, that I feel so strongly, is what I get to spend my days documenting.

A note from Thomas;
”I honestly can not recommend Amanda highly enough. When my partner told me we had a photo shoot I thought “oh great” but as soon as we arrived Amanda made it so comfortable and enjoyable.
The entire photo shoot was so fun and the memories we will now have forever are priceless. Very pleased with Amanda’s work”

This particular family session (like many that I photograph) was one that absolutely fuelled my soul.

The golden light, the beautiful styling of their outfits, the connection.

The free spirited giggles that escaped their mouths, the completely genuine smiles.

And the love.
The absolute love and adoration that these four have for each other was just so incredible to capture.

Thank you for allowing me to photograph your family and to create timeless art from your moments together.

Brisbane Wedding Photographer | Jessika & Brent

I recently photographed the wedding of one of my close friends and to say the day was beautiful is an understatement! I’ve known Jessika and Brent for over 9 years now and i’ve loved being apart of the special moments in their life. Jessika and I were pregnant together with both of our children (I even had the honour of photographing her second daughters birth) and now sharing in their wedding day has been so amazing.

I’m quite an emotional person however I’m always so focused on capturing moments during a wedding ceremony that I don’t often get teary. However seeing how emotional Brent was when he finally got to see his beautiful bride (she literally looked like a princess, am I right!?) had me crying behind my camera (as well as all of their guests)! Their ceremony was short and sweet, but packed full of love and laughter.

Thank you both so much for allowing me to create these beautiful memories for you!

A few quick questions for the bride…

What surprised you about your wedding day?
It all went a lot more smoothly then I thought and I was a lot calmer then I thought I would be.

What was your favourite moment of the day?
When we arrived at the ceremony, getting out of the car, walking down the aisle and finally getting to see my husband to be.

What advice would you offer to other couples planning their wedding?
Take in every second, it’s all over so quickly!

Your experience working with Amanda Michelle Photography?
I wouldn’t go through anyone else, her work compares to no other! She was great on the day, capturing each moment big or small. Professional and friendly!

We were lucky enough to have a beautiful cloudy sky for their session and even luckier to have such beautiful golden light peek through towards the end! I absolutely loved being able to photograph these two and create some gorgeous images to document this incredible journey in their lives together.

See the way they look at each other as well? So much LOVE!

Did you know the best time to have your pregnancy photographed is between 30-35 weeks? Message me for more information or to book in your own session.

North Brisbane Newborn Photographer | Baby Sophia

Meet Sophia!

I recently got to photograph this little girls newborn session and i’m not going to lie, i’m a little sad that i’ve now finished editing her gallery of images! She is such a sweet, little doll!

When her Mumma came back into the studio to choose her images, she let out a few happy tears while watching her slideshow and I honestly think this is one of the best compliments I could ever receive! So much love goes into every single image that I photograph and retouch, so to see just how much these images mean to my families is so beautiful.

Have a look at that last image too! Best smile ever!

I photographed this family recently and I just have to say, how stunning are their outfits! I love the warm, earthy tones and look at those matching fabrics on the kids, so darn cute.

These kiddies sure did keep me on my toes but how gorgeous are their sweet little faces! They had so much personality and I absolutely loved it!

I have some very last minute availability for these last few weeks of the year, so if it’s time to update your families photos, send me a message.
